By using UMTmaxim you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What UMTmaxim is
UMTmaxim is a free tool that helps students organize their semester: timetable, deadlines, date sheet, courses, files, marks and results. It is an independent project made by a student. It is not an official service of the University of Management and Technology, and it is not connected to the university's portal.
Your responsibility
- Always check important dates, rooms, marks and grades against official university sources. The app shows what you enter or import, and it reads files with simple rules that can make mistakes.
- GPA and CGPA figures, projections and grading scales are estimates. Your official transcript is what counts.
- Only upload files you are allowed to keep and use. Your files stay with you; they are not published.
- Keep your password and your devices safe. Accounts are stored in your browser and passwords cannot be reset.
- Keep backups of anything important (Settings → Data & storage → Export).
Your data
Your data belongs to you. How it is stored and used is explained in the privacy policy.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", free of charge, without any warranty. It may contain errors, change, or stop being available. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for missed deadlines, lost data, wrong calculations or any other loss arising from using the app.
Fair use
Don't try to break, overload or misuse the app or the services it relies on (such as Google sign-in and Google Drive), and follow Google's terms when you use those features.
The Android app
The Android app is shared as an APK file for you to install yourself, free of charge and as is, on the same terms as the website. Its data lives on your phone only and is erased if you uninstall it, so keep a backup (Settings → Data & storage).
Changes
These terms may be updated; the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
